Strongwell's fiberglass baffle systems can be
used in municipal and industrial water and wastewater systems, aeration
and contact chambers and retention basins. The lightweight panels are
easily installed and are ideal for retrofitting into existing systems.
They are also cost effective because they have a much longer life cycle as
compared to wood, concrete and other traditional materials that are
subject to rot and corrosion.

Baffle panels are available in 12" and 24"
widths to offer flexibility in design and fabrication. The standard panels
are pultruded with a polyester resin system. The resin system has a UV
inhibitor and the glass reinforcements are covered by a surfacing veil for
enhanced corrosion resistance and additional UV protection. Class 1 ASTM
E-84 rating, vinyl ester and a special resin system to meet NSF 61
requirements also are available.
